Frequently Asked Questions

  • We’ll keep it real. Sessions are a mix of honest conversation, reflection, and practical tools. Some days it’s deep emotional work, other days it’s laughter and strategy. I meet you where you are, and we move from there.

  • Absolutely not. You don’t need a crisis to deserve support. Therapy is for the strong friend too—the one who’s been holding it all together for everyone else. If you’re tired, stuck, or just ready to finally put yourself first, this is for you.

  • My standard session fee is $100. I don’t accept insurance, but I offer sliding scale rates between $40–$70 through Open Path, based on income and household size. We’ll talk more about fees during your consultation.

  • I currently offer virtual therapy for clients located anywhere in Texas. You can join sessions from the comfort of your couch, office, or even your car (if that’s where the peace lives today).

  • I work best with high-achieving Black women who are tired of pretending they’re fine. You might be managing anxiety, navigating identity, carrying past trauma, or just burned out from being the “go-to” person in everyone’s life.

  • Lovingly, yes. I’m calm and grounded, but I’m also direct. I use discernment to know when you need space and when you need a gentle push. My goal is always your growth—not your comfort zone.

  • Absolutely. This is real life—there’s room for tears and laughter. We can do deep work and still find joy, humor, and even the occasional side-eye moment. Healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.
