Therapy for resilient Black women who’ve been growing through concrete.

Available virtually across Texas.

“The type of counselor who is willing to run into a burning building of despair to help guide clients out safely toward a life they want for themselves.”

- Denny Singh, LPC-S, LCDC

You stay busy…

Checking boxes, showing up, handling your business. But let’s be real… something’s slippin’ through the cracks.

You’ve been pouring into everybody else’s cup so long, your own is running on fumes (if not straight-up dust).

Slowing down? Naw. That feels uncomfortable. Maybe even dangerous. So you just keep it pushin’, promising yourself you’ll “get to it later.”

But pretending you’ve got it all together? That mask is heavy, sis.

This is your life, not a show.

Performance mode is not giving—and I know you’re tapped out from wearing that “strong Black woman” mask 24/7.

But after taking time for you? You’re making moves and decisions without that side-eye guilt when you say “no” or put yourself first for once.

You’re actually able to chill—like really chill—and most important? You get to show up as you—messy texts, off days, and all—without feeling like you’ve got to be flawless or “on” all the time.

Therapy that gets you.

I’m not here to nod and ask, “And how does that make you feel?” on repeat.

This is real, collaborative therapy where your full self is welcome—no code-switching, no shrinking, no over-explaining.

We talk about the hard stuff—trauma, burnout, boundaries—in a space where laughter is a must, because there’s room for joy in healing.

I bring clinical expertise, lived experience, and a passion for helping high-achieving Black women find their peace.

Alicia’s Specialties

  • Burnout & Anxiety

For the mentally drained, overfunctioning, and stressed under that “I’m good” mask.

  • Trauma & Emotional Wounds

Breaking down what happened, how it’s impacting you today, and most importantly—taking the blame off you.

  • Identity & Self Worth

Rebuilding your self-trust, dropping the guilt, and helping you feel confident, calm, and fully like you again.

What healing looks like:

No longer spiraling over whether saying "no" makes you a bad person or a disappointment. You trust yourself, period.

Not shrinking or code-switching to make people comfortable.

You walk into rooms unapologetically you, not a curated version tweaked to their comfort.

No more “strong Black woman” Olympics. You can rest, cry, laugh, rage, and not have it all together—and still be worthy and whole.

Feeling peace without guilt. You take up space, book the trip, and nap without “being productive” 24/7.

Showing up for you first. Because prioritizing yourself isn’t selfish. It’s survival, it’s life-giving…and it’s overdue.

My style? Warm, direct, and always real—with tools like ACT, DBT, and solutions-focused narrative therapy to help you unpack trauma, bust burnout, and say “no” with your whole chest.

We’ll laugh, dig deep, and move at your pace so you can finally stop performing and start living like yourself again.
